Introducing a classic reversible jacket into their line must have been Woolrich Woolen Mills’ intention when designing the Balmac coat. This jacket — cut in a familiar style — is fully functional for unpredictable weather. Raining? Flip the wool side inside out and you’re all set.
What I often find an issue with reversible jackets is how one side usually looks far superior to the other. What’s the point in getting a reversible jacket if one side looks ass ugly, right? Fortunately for you, you won’t have that issue with WWM’s take on reversible outerwear.
On one side it’s made of 80% wool and 20% nylon interior. The reverse side is made of 60% polyester and 40% cotton. The jacket also has two interior hand pockets and two exterior hand pockets. At $695.00 the jacket doesn’t come cheap, but you may just want to consider this option. After all, you really are getting the versatility of having two jackets in one.
