We recently dropped the Arsenal 2011/2012 Anniversary home kit. Today we get a look at the two-tone away uniforms.
Celebrating 125 years this season, Arsenal have added a commemorative “1886-2011” to their iconic canon logo, just like the home shirts. Navy blue and turquoise blue, make up the colourway and the whole thing has kept with Nike’s attempt to be environmentally forward. The sweat wicking, heat draining fabric is actually made from recycled water bottles.
Being a Spurs man, I have to swallow my pride a bit as I talk up the Gunners. But hey, this is football. You always want a well dressed opponent. Short of the collar, these are some pretty sweet lookin’ shirts.
